About the Speaker:

Jennifer Edey: Jennifer entered the SR&ED industry in 2010 as a business developer for a boutique SR&ED firm. She immediately fell in love with the industry and became passionate about helping Canadian businesses grow. Jennifer was fortunate enough to work in various roles, including Sales Manager, VP of Sales, VP of Operations and SR&ED Department Manager. This allowed her to learn all aspects of the SR&ED program and become an expert in the industry. Jennifer made the move to Flow Ventures in 2023, which was recently acquired by Deloitte. She is now a Senior Manager in the Gi3 Practice at Deloitte Canada with 15 years of experience.

Before SR&ED, she worked for a recruitment firm, and her first real job was selling Cutco Knives for Vector Marketing. There she ran a successful divisional office and became number one in Canada that year. Personally, she has sold over $100,000 in Cutco Knives to happy clients. The drive to help others is her key attribute, which continues to guide her through all aspects of her life. Jennifer is the mother of two and resides in Oakville.

Jack Malone- D’Agnolo: Jack is a CPA with seven years of corporate tax experience. Four of those years were spent focused exclusively on SR&ED filings, helping businesses maximize their innovation funding opportunities. When Jack is not in SR&ED meetings, he’s busy building things. He has launched two companies: an online art marketplace for buying, selling, and trading original pieces, and a cleaning business that services homes, restaurants, and offices around Toronto and the GTA. Outside of work, you’ll find him cheering on the Detroit Red Wings or tuning into “Conversations with Tyler,” which is his go-to podcast for fresh perspectives
