FAQs
When do applications open?
Applications open quarterly throughout the year. Businesses are encouraged to apply during the intake period that best aligns with their readiness to participate.
How long is the program?
The Business Impact Program runs for 24 months (2 years), providing businesses with long-term mentorship, education, and ongoing support to help implement meaningful and sustainable business strategies.
Does the program cost anything?
No. The Business Impact Program is fully funded through the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade, allowing accepted businesses to participate at no cost.
How often will I meet with my mentor?
During the first three months, participants complete an in-depth business diagnostic with their mentor, which includes approximately 15 hours of mentorship. After the diagnostic phase, businesses receive 3 hours of mentorship per month for the remaining 21 months of the program.
How are mentors matched with businesses?
Each participant is thoughtfully matched with a mentor by the Program Manager, who considers factors such as your business goals, industry, stage of growth, and the mentor’s experience to create the best possible fit.
