Join the Board of Directors at Boundless Accelerator
Boundless Accelerator is seeking visionary and purpose-driven leaders to join our Board of Directors and help guide our mission to fuel innovation, entrepreneurship, and inclusive economic growth across Southern Ontario and beyond.
As a not-for-profit organization, Boundless Accelerator works at the intersection of innovation and impact — supporting startups, scale-ups, and industry leaders through high-impact programming, strategic partnerships, and ecosystem-building initiatives. With a bold vision for the future, we are expanding our reach and strengthening our leadership — and we’re looking for new board members to join us on this journey.
Who We’re Looking For:
We are seeking individuals who are passionate about entrepreneurship, innovation, and regional economic development. Ideal candidates will bring one or more of the following:
- Board governance or executive leadership experience
- Lived experience and commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion
- Expertise in sectors such as cleantech, advanced manufacturing, agri-innovation, health innovation, finance, or investment
- Legal, regulatory, or public policy knowledge
- Strong community ties or networks within innovation ecosystems
We strongly encourage applications from individuals who reflect the diversity of the communities we serve — including but not limited to women, Indigenous peoples, persons with disabilities, members of racialized communities, and 2SLGBTQI+ individuals.
What to Expect:
- Flexible term for up to 3 years, with the opportunity for renewal
- A collaborative and forward-thinking board culture
- Attend and actively participate in Board meetings (5 meetings per annum)
- Serve on a minimum of one committee of the board and work independently on assigned activities
- Support Boundless Accelerator community events as often as possible
Board members serve in a volunteer capacity and play a vital role in shaping the future of Boundless Accelerator.
