Are you a skilled journalist with a knack for captivating online audiences? Boundless Accelerator™ is on the lookout for a full-time journalist to spearhead its website’s content strategy. In this dynamic role, you’ll be tasked with producing engaging blog posts, thought-provoking articles, and informative documents centered around entrepreneurship in Canada. As part of your responsibilities, you’ll conduct in-depth interviews with clients and partners, meticulously research industry trends, and craft social media content that resonates with our diverse audience. Under the guidance of our senior team, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute your creative insights and hone your writing skills while working both in-office and remotely.
This hybrid position offers flexibility, with a minimum of three office days per week and the rest of your hours spent working from home. Please note that occasional travel to client sites may be required, so a valid driver’s license is a must. Job Duties:
• Brainstorm and research relevant local, national, and international news online, focusing on topics pertinent to entrepreneurship.
• Craft engaging news stories and blog posts for publication on our website and social media channels.
• Review and edit written content for accuracy and clarity.
• Conduct interviews with industry experts and entrepreneurs for research and content creation purposes.
• Fact-check all content to ensure accuracy and credibility.
• Capture video footage and conduct interviews for multimedia content.
• Stay updated on entrepreneurship developments and report on industry trends and innovations.
• Prepare regular feature columns and specialized stories for our newsletter and website.
• Write editorials and commentaries to spark public interest and share the views of Boundless Accelerator™ on relevant topics.
This opportunity is funded by the Canada Summer Jobs Program and is subject to the following criteria:
To be eligible, applicants must:
• Be between 15 and 30 years old
• Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or a refugee
• Be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial/federal legislation.
• And not be receiving Employment Insurance benefits while working.
